Wrexham have confirmed that striker Mo Faal has been loaned out to League Two side Port Vale.

Faal returns to Vale Park on loan for the season from the Red Dragons, having spent the first half of last season at the club, where he scored three goals in 23 games.

His time Burslem was cut short due to injury. After regaining fitness, Faal played eight times for Cheltenham Town at the end of last season – the highlight being his superb last-minute winner against Gillingham.

The 23-year-old joined Wrexham from West Bromwich Albion in August 2024 and has scored three times in 16 appearances for the Welsh club.

“Last year Mo had a disrupted season, so we wanted him to be back in with Port Vale straight away this pre-season, which gives him an opportunity to have a good campaign with the Valiants,” Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said.
