Wales trio Carys Phillips, Abbie Fleming, and Lisa Neumann are among a staggering list of 25 players to leave Harlequins women at the end of the season.

It was confirmed last month that former World Rugby Player of the Year Ellie Kildunne had departed the Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) side, joining Bristol Bears.

Phillips and Neumann joined the London-based club in 2023, from Worcester Warriors and Gloucester Hartpury respectively, while Fleming arrived a year later.

All three had limited impact last season, but had previously been key parts of successful Quins sides.

Fleming has already announced her next club, with Leicester Tigers confirming her signature.

Previously, Fleming played for Cardiff and then Exeter Chiefs before arriving at Quins in the summer of 2023.

“I’m really looking forward to joining Tigers this season,” Fleming said.

“I believe in the game plan, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together as a club.”

“It’s a fresh start, and I’m excited to rebuild and grow as a player at a club whose values I fully align with.”

“Abbie is somebody who is incredibly physical, we’re really looking forward to seeing what she’s going to add to our defence but also her attacking prowess as well,” Leicester director of women’s rugby Fraser Goatcher added.

“She’s got a great skillset so we’re really looking forward to seeing what she brings.”
