Car insurance comparison service Brumble has announced Welsh rugby union player Louie Hennessey as its first-ever brand ambassador.
Hennessey, who plays for Bath Rugby and recently made his Wales debut against Ireland in the Six Nations, becomes the first athlete to join the growing Welsh platform.
Brumble is a UK-based platform that helps drivers save money through free tools, insurance comparison, and independent, data-driven guides.
Founded by Ryan Hughes, Brumble works with FCA-regulated partners including Quotezone, Carfinance247, Motorway, and Cuvva to connect drivers with better deals.
It also offers guides on insurance and motoring costs, as well as a number of other financial services.
“What got us so excited about working with Louie as a young Welsh business is that he, of course, is a young Welsh talent,” founder Ryan Hughes said.
“We’re both on a journey of growth and development. At Brumble, we want to work with people who genuinely reflect our values, and Louie embodies that.
“He’s ambitious, grounded and always looking for ways to improve, which is exactly the type of person we want associated with the brand.”
While Hennessey’s ambitions on the pitch remain firmly focused on competing at the highest level, the partnership also reflects his interest in developing beyond rugby and gaining experience in the business world.
“Off the pitch as well, I want to dive into the business world. I want to challenge myself in new environments and ultimately in new industries,” added Hennessey.
“It felt authentic. It felt right.
“I think that’s important because you’ve got to believe in it. And I definitely believe in Brumble. I think the ceiling’s high and it’s awesome to be a part of.”
As Brumble continues to grow, the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to working with ambitious individuals who share its values and long-term outlook.
Becoming Brumble’s first ambassador is a milestone Hennessey does not take lightly.
“I think it’s special,” he said. “When you take a step back and realise you’re a brand’s first ambassador, it’s very cool, it’s very exciting and I feel honoured.”
