Wales Netball appoint Four Cymru in new communications strategy
Wales Netball have announced that they have signed an agreement with marketing agency Four Cymru.
Four Cymru, part of the wider Four Agency Worldwide group, will work with Wales Netball on a new ‘audience-led’ communications strategy.
Four say in a statement that the new plan is designed to “strengthen engagement, improve clarity and support the long-term growth of netball from grassroots to elite level across Wales.”
The work will focus on helping Wales Netball shape and communicate its Ymladd 2030 strategy during its 80th year, engaging with every part of the sport, from players and members, volunteers and parents, to fans, schools, and partners.
Wales Netball, who run the Welsh Feathers national team and Netball Super League team LexisNexis Dragons, are looking to build momentum ahead of key international fixtures that include the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer and the World Cup Qualifiers for Sydney 2027 this September.
“Wales Netball is undergoing considerable change at present as we shape our Ymladd 2030 vision,” Sarah Boswell, Chief Executive of Wales Netball said.
“Working closely with Four Cymru will give us the tools to be more focused, more consistent and more impactful in how we tell our story and support the growth of netball in Wales.”
“We’re very proud to be working with Wales Netball,” Amelia Stevens, Four Cymru’s managing director added.
“As a netball player, supporting the sport in Wales is something that’s particularly close to my heart.
“Our initial focus has been on creating a practical, audience-first strategy that supports day-to-day communications while also helping Wales Netball achieve their long-term ambitions for participation, performance and pride.
“With the Welsh Feathers taking the stage at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games this summer, we’re looking forward to leveraging this moment to drive interest and participation in the game, supporting Wales Netball’s continued development at grassroots, community and elite levels.
“So keep an eye out for Wales Netball in communities across Wales!”
