Gloucester Hartpury have announced that Wales centre Hannah Dallavalle has signed a new contract at the club.

Dallavalle has been a key part of ‘the Circus’ since 2019, and was part of the squad that has won three Professional Women’s Rugby titles on the bounce between 2023 and 2025.

Born in Swansea, Dallavalle began her rugby journey at the age of seven with Crynant RFC, initially playing in mixed teams before progressing through school and university rugby.

Her talent quickly became evident as she advanced through the Welsh pathway system, earning national recognition from an early age and laying the foundations for a distinguished international career.

Having first been involved with the Wales squad during the 2013 and 2014 Women’s Six Nations Championships, Dallavalle made her senior debut against Scotland in 2015, marking the occasion with her first international try.

She earned her maiden Six Nations start against Ireland the following year and has since established herself as a key figure in the Welsh backline.

The 29-year-old has featured in numerous Women’s Six Nations campaigns and demonstrated her leadership credentials by captaining Wales against Scotland during the 2021 Championship.

Later that year, she was selected for Wales’ Rugby World Cup squad in New Zealand, where she also had the honour of leading her country.

Beyond the 15-a-side game, Dallavalle represented Great Britain Sevens and was named in the GB Sevens training squad ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games following a successful professional stint in Australia.

Most recently, Dallavalle was selected for Wales’ 2025 Women’s Six Nations squad before earning a place in the national side for the Women’s Rugby World Cup in England later that year.

She also featured throughout the 2026 Women’s Six Nations campaign, further reinforcing her reputation as one of Welsh rugby’s most experienced and influential players.
