Swansea and Wrexham find out FA Cup Third Round opponents

Swansea City and Wrexham found out their FA Cup Third Round opponents on Monday evening, with both sides handed home ties.
Swansea City have been drawn to face West Bromwich Albion in the third round of the FA Cup, with the home tie will be played over the dates of January 8-14, 2026.
Wrexham will host Premier League side Nottingham Forest at Cae Ras. The first time the two sides met was at this stage of the competiton in 1982 where the Red Dragons beat Brian Clough’s side 3-1 at the City Ground.
Elsewhere, sixth-tier club Macclesfield will host holders Crystal Palace in the third round of the FA Cup.
There are four all-Premier League ties, including Tottenham hosting Aston Villa, Sunderland travelling to Everton, Newcastle welcoming Bournemouth to St James’ Park, and Manchester United at home to Brighton.
Another sixth-tier side, Weston-super-Mare, who have reached this stage of the competition for the first time in their 138-year history, travel to League Two Grimsby.
Cardiff City and Newport County are both out of the FA Cup, having lost to Peterborough and Boreham Wood in the First and Second Rounds respectively.
