Congratulations to the Sportin Wales Team of the Month for July: Llantwit Fardre Pink Rhinos Rugby Club!

League: Championship, but we’ve elected to go into Central League 1 for the 2026/27 season.

Age Range: All ages!

About Us: We’re the only women’s rugby club within our local area. We pride ourselves on getting young girls to strive within the game. Most of our players have children playing rugby and they also coach their girls in the junior levels.

Big Wins: We won back to back leagues and made it to Championship within 3 years!

What You’re Really Proud Of: The commitment that each player gives, we’re not just a team, we’re a family and our families are included in this. We continue to strive and we look forward to our upcoming season.

Charity Work: We’ve done a number of events such as, Pen-y-Fan but the most recent was one of our players took on white collar boxing to raise money for Velindre.

What’s Next: We have our 26/27 season coming up and we are excited to get started, we’re currently in a rebuilding stage and I for one am really excited to see what’s to come and to welcome any new or old players into the squad. We’d love to extend our family and make the club bigger and bigger!
