Run for Wales: Prostate Cymru’s Half Marathon Series is Open for Entry

Rhodri Evans
Following the huge success of last year’s running events, Prostate Cymru is delighted to announce the highly anticipated release of spaces for its incredible running series, which includes the Cardiff Half Marathon, the Llanelli Half Marathon, and the Swansea Half Marathon.
Last year, Prostate Cymru was overwhelmed by the incredible support from both individual and corporate fundraisers, who laced up their trainers to help raise vital funds.
These dedicated runners allow the charity to continue its essential work across Wales.
Prostate Cymru is the leading prostate disease charity in Wales, committed to ensuring that men with prostate cancer and other prostate diseases have access to the best available treatments and care.
The organisation achieves this by funding the training of surgeons, hosting PSA Testing Days across the country, and running essential awareness campaigns.
The charity is proud to see such strong backing from the Welsh business community.
In particular, it extends its sincere gratitude to key corporate partners like Swansea Building Society, Gomer Press, and Whitehead Building Society, who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the cause by supporting the running series and other initiatives.
Their involvement is instrumental in helping Prostate Cymru reach its fundraising goals and spread its life-saving message throughout Wales.
Participating in one of the half marathons is a fantastic way for individuals to challenge themselves while making a profound difference to men and their families across the nation.
Every mile run and every pound raised directly contributes to improving prostate health services.
To join the charity for the iconic Cardiff Half Marathon and secure a guaranteed place through Prostate Cymru, runners should sign up directly via the events page on the Prostate Cymru website.
This is one of the UK’s largest and most celebrated road races and running for the charity guarantees an unforgettable experience while raising vital funds.
For those interested in running the Llanelli Half Marathon or the Swansea Half Marathon, they should email Events Coordinator, Ellie Jug, at ellie.jug@prostatecymru to register their interest and find out more information about entry and fundraising targets.
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so interested runners are encouraged to get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
