Cardiff City have announced that right-back Perry Ng has signed a new two-year contract at the club following promotion back to the Championship.

The 30-year-old’s new contract runs until the summer of 2028, following another excellent season for the Bluebirds.

Ng, who joined in January 2021, has made 233 appearances for Cardiff to date, scoring 15 times.

He is a two-time Cardiff player of the season winner and played 40 times during the successful League One promotion campaign last term.

“I’m delighted to have signed this new deal,” Ng said.

“I’ve loved my time at the Club so far.

“I’ve grown a lot in my five-and-a-half years in South Wales. I feel like I’ve made a home for myself here.

“I’d like to take this moment to thank the City fans for their support. I’m excited now for myself and this group to take on the challenge the Championship brings.”

Ng signed for Cardiff from Crewe Alexandra for a reported £350,000, rising to £500,000 and has trained with the Singaporean national team.
