Tell us a bit about your early days in sport, up to today.

In my early days of the sport I never saw golf as what I’m doing today, I never imagined me competing at this level. I originally used it for fun. As I developed and got better I started to take it more seriously and decided to try and make it a career and give it my all.

What are you most proud of to date in your career?

My proudest moment has to be when I won the Welsh men’s strokeplay last year. The first Welsh winner in 9 years and one of the youngest ever. This was a massive moment for me as I clarified that I’m doing the right thing and made me realise that I’m good enough to win.

Where do you hope to be in five years?

I hope to be playing on tour and competing at the highest level.

What are your main strengths?

My main strengths are pitching, chipping and bunker play. Any chance I have a wedge in my hand really.

Who is your biggest inspiration in your sport?

Tiger Woods for his winning mentality. Bob Rottella and Mark Burford for the mental side of things.

What are the next steps/moves in your career?

Keep working hard and playing competitively at the highest level whilst I’m amateur then when I’m ready eventually turn pro.
