Joe Roberts and Ben Warren added to Wales squad ahead of New Zealand test

Steve Tandy has confirmed that Joe Roberts and Ben Warren have been added to the Wales squad ahead of Saturday’s match with New Zealand.
It takes the number of players available to Steve Tandy for game three of the four-match series up to 41.
Scarlets centre Roberts, 25, made his last appearance for Wales in the first Test defeat on this summer’s tour of Japan.
Ospreys tight-head prop Warren, also 25, was called up to the 2025 Six Nations Championship after injury to WillGriff John but is yet to make his first senior appearance for Wales.
“We have decided to add Joe and Ben to the squad this week as an important part of our preparation for the final two weeks of our autumn campaign,” said Tandy.
New Zealand travel to Cardiff having lost to England at Twickenham and out for a measure of revenge – a dangerous combination for Tandy’s side.
However, the additions of Roberts and Warren are in a large part due to the fact that Wales’ final match of the autumn – against South Africa – will be outside the international window and therefore prevent them from selecting their English and French-based players.
