FAW signs three-year partnership with global sportswear brand
The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has signed a new three-year deal with global sportswear brand Hummel.
From next season, Hummel will be the official ball and referee kit supplier for the FAW’s domestic leagues – the Cymru Leagues and Adran Premier.
The company will also supply balls in the Adran North, Adran South and the Ardal Leagues.
“We are delighted and excited to be part of the future of the FAW and the domestic game,” Chris Kirby, Director of Sports Logistics at Hummel, said.
“The ethos of our business and the brand Hummel is to be on all playing fields to unite communities.
“This partnership is a great example of where two organisations are aligned on their purpose and vision and we look forward to the journey together.”
Hummel is a German-founded Danish brand, with significant partnership already in UK football, as the official kit suppliers of Premier League sides AFC Bournemouth and Sunderland AFC.
“This partnership with Hummel is the first of many exciting announcements to come for our domestic game,” Jack Sharp, FAW Head of Domestic Leagues, added.
“With the 2026/27 season marking a period of significant change, we are delighted to welcome Hummel on this journey with us. We have enjoyed getting to know Chris and the team at Hummel and look forward to working with them over the next three years.
“We would also like to place on record our thanks to Macron for their longstanding support of Welsh domestic football.
“The partnership with Hummel represents another important step forward in the continued development and growth of the National Leagues.”
