Glamorgan Cricket have announced that Ned Leonard has signed a new two-year contract at the county.
Leonard first arrived at the Welsh county on a loan deal from Somerset in 2024, before signing his first contract at the Club later that year.
The 23-year-old seamer has now committed his future to Glamorgan until the end of the 2028 season.
Leonard has been an important part of both red and white ball sides, returning from an injury setback earlier this season to play a part in Glamorgan’s T20 Blast campaign.
“I’m really pleased to extend my time with Glamorgan,” Leonard said.
“The environment here has been brilliant for my development, and I’m grateful for the support I’ve had from the coaches, staff, and the lads in the dressing room.
“I’m excited for what’s ahead and determined to contribute as much as I can over the next two seasons.”
“Ned has shown real promise since joining us and has worked incredibly hard to keep pushing his game forward,” men’s head Coach Richard Dawson added.
“He’s a talented young fast bowler with a great attitude, and we’re delighted he’ll be with us through to 2028. We believe he has a big future at Glamorgan.”
