David Spear Commercials has strengthened its long-standing commitment to rugby by extending its partnership with Gloucester Rugby, taking its support of the sport beyond Wales and reinforcing its position as one of the UK’s leading commercial backers of the game.

The company is already a proud supporter of Welsh and English rugby through partnerships with Cardiff Rugby, Ospreys, Dragons RFC, and Bristol Bears, and this latest extension demonstrates its continued dedication to rugby at all levels.

As part of the extended partnership, David Spear Commercials will continue as the Official Kit Van Partner of Gloucester Rugby, supplying a fully branded vehicle to support the club’s operations both in the UK and across Europe.

The agreement also includes a comprehensive advertising package:

  • Prominent matchday branding across ground boards, LED screens, and Kingsholm Stadium’s mega screens
  • Digital visibility on Gloucester Rugby’s website
  • Hospitality and community engagement opportunities
  • Shared marketing rights, including press announcements and joint promotional activity

Founded in South Wales over three decades ago, David Spear Commercials has grown into one of the UK’s most trusted names in new and used commercial vehicle sales.

With a reputation for reliability, exceptional customer service, and community engagement, the company’s ethos aligns closely with Gloucester Rugby, with both organisations committed to excellence on and off the field.

“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with David Spear Commercials,” Alex Brown, CEO of Gloucester Rugby, said.

“They are a family-run business with an outstanding reputation and a genuine passion for rugby. Their ongoing support is invaluable to the club, and we look forward to another successful season together at Kingsholm.”

“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Gloucester Rugby,” said David Spear, Founder of David Spear Commercials. “Rugby has always been close to our hearts, and this extension reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the sport across Wales and England.

“With Tomos Williams – Welsh international, British & Irish Lion, and this season’s Gloucester captain – playing such a key role at the club, there’s an even stronger connection for us.

“This partnership continues to align perfectly with our values, and we’re excited to support Gloucester Rugby both on and off the pitch.”
