The Football Association of Wales (FAW) have announced that the Cymru Premier have begun a multi-year partnership with Pelly.

Pelly, a football operations platform, will be set up to help all 16 Cymru Premier clubs manage their internal operations and recruitment.

The agreement starts ahead of the 2026/27 season.

For football clubs, much of the day-to-day operations is spread across spreadsheets, inboxes, and disconnected tools. The agreement gives every club access to a single platform to manage that work, from recruitment and contracts through to compliance and squad planning.

Founded in 2023 and based in Anglesey, Wales, Pelly was named Global Startup of the Year at the Wales StartUp Awards in June 2025.

Pelly is partnered with clubs across Europe, including Motherwell FC in the Scottish Premiership and SC Cambuur of the Eredivisie.

“Pelly’s roots are in Wales, and one of the first clubs we ever worked with was in the Cymru Premier in 2022. That experience gave us a close-up view of the struggles clubs face on a day-to-day basis and shaped a lot of what the platform has become today.

“We are delighted to now provide access to all 16 teams to help them recruit and manage day-to-day operations more efficiently, and in doing so, stretch the limits of their potential on the pitch.”
