Dragon Squared: Dragon Signs To Sponsor Dragons RFC For New Season
Dragons RFC are delighted to announce Dragon Signs will become the club’s new front of shirt partner for the 2024/25 season.
Long-standing partner Dragon Signs have extended their commitment to the Men of Gwent with this exciting new agreement on the eve of the new BKT United Rugby Championship campaign.
The Dragon Signs logo will now feature across the chest of their new home, away and European playing jerseys this season.
Supporters can look forward to the official unveiling of the striking new home kit – that will make its eagerly-awaited debut against Ospreys this weekend at Rodney Parade – when it goes live on Wednesday evening!
Dragon Signs will also have extensive exposure around Rodney Parade on match days with LED boards and big screen promotion, plus branding across our official website and social media channels.
Sponsorship of Carter and Wainwright
The leading UK signage maker also become player sponsors for club captain Ben Carter and Wales international star Aaron Wainwright.
Making his Dragons debut in November 2020, Carter has amassed 57 appearances for the club and captained the club for the first time against Benetton in October 2022.
Carter’s rise at club level has been replicated on the international stage where he made his debut for Wales in July 2021 against Canada. He toured Australia this summer and has 12 international caps.
Wainwright, who has 50 caps for Wales and has played well over 100 times for Dragons, is recovering well from the hamstring injury that cut short his tour of Australia.
“I am getting there,” said Wainwright.
“I went to see the surgeon again on Monday just to revisit a second scan and it’s healing well.
“Hopefully I will be back soon. I’ll take each week as it comes and if things start to speed up, then I will hopefully align with that.”
The Perfect New Kit
Dragon Signs sponsorship of two of Dragons most beloved players underlines their commitment to the club ahead of a big season for Dai Flanagan and his team.
“We are absolutely delighted that Dragon Signs are supporting us throughout this season as front of shirt partner, proudly displayed on all our new jerseys,” Rhys Blumberg, CEO of Dragons RFC, said of the partnership.
“Dragon Signs have been long-term supporters of Dragons RFC, and this new partnership only solidifies the fantastic relationship we have with Rhys and all the team.
“The values and ethos at Dragon Signs align alongside our own and we’re excited to be working with them on several exciting activations that fans can enjoy this season.
“There has been a huge amount of interest in the new home jersey from our fans.
“We’re excited to see the response when we official launch our home kit this Wednesday and wear it for the first time on Saturday against Ospreys in our United Rugby Championship opener at Rodney Parade.”
