Sophia Gardens will once again play host to Welsh Fire in the 2023 edition of The Hundred; an action-packed, fast-paced, unmissable, 100-ball cricket competition that will put you on the edge of your seat. Cricket legend Mike Hussey takes the reigns as head coach of the men’s side, with new skipper Tom Abell backed up with the international quality of Pakistani superstar Shaheen Shah Afridi and his countryman Haris Rauf.  Head down to Sophia Gardens on Wednesday 2^nd August for the first of four double-header Welsh Fire fixtures that month, where both men’s and women’s teams will take to the pitch in their opening fixtures against Manchester Originals.
